To perceive and understand things as you work and to put them on canvas without always having to "say" them.
Exhibitions... museums... nature... books... travels... the return to the studio with a new view of things.
Coming back to subjects in a different way, choosing a technique and staying true to it while remaining oneself.
To dirty, to stick-on, to dominate the white, to seek these as if they were a color...
The importance of drawing... even in so-called abstract painting
Sometimes things come quickly... sometimes it takes a very long time to find them.
To seek, to work hard, to doubt, to wonder... and to have the feeling that I haven't done anything yet.
